ZAMA Precision Industry Co., Ltd., 100% owned by Stihl Germany, broke ground in a ceremony for its new production plant in Huizhou City, which is neighbouring Shenzhen where ZAMA used to operate in a rented facility. The project, comprising 33,000 sqm floor area in up to 5 storeys, will be finished within 13 months. Due to the longstanding and successful cooperation between Stihl and BMP, e.g. in Qingdao, Taicang and also on the Philippines, BMP is again the partner responsible for all Design, Engineering and Project Management Services in this project.
