Due to Mercedes’ rapidly growing sales in China for compact cars, BBAC started their expansion project in Beijing with the construction of a new paint shop for the A series models. This state of the art paint shop will be realized in record time under management of BMP’s engineers who supported BBAC also in building the previous paint shop for the C and E class models and before since 2012 on their more than 1 Mio sqm new facilities. Construction started with the first pile on 6th of August 2015. Currently more than one fourth of the steel structure is already finished with the plan to achieve roof topping before end of this year.
