On 20th May 2014 the first phase of Daimler’s R&D center in Beijing downtown was successfully handed over to the user. The Daimler R&D center is an around 10,000 sqm large facility which houses besides a workshop and R&D office facilities also one of 6 worldwide design excellence centers. BMP’s specialist team continues now with phase 2, which is planned to be completed by October this year. Earlier this year BMP has handed over the 43,000 sqm R&D center of the Joint Venture Beijing Benz Automotive.
