During the Energy Efficiency Congress of dena (Deutsche Energie Agentur) in Berlin on Nov.25th, 2013, one of the main awards was handed over to EJOT Fastening Systems (Taicang) for its new plant in Taicang, designed and engineered by BMP. With cutting edge technology, ranging from geothermal to solar energy, smart building management system and many other advanced features, an energy (and running costs) saving of more than 40% was realized. This coming with an RoI within 5 years and a construction period of just 10 months, the congratulations of Ms Nina Ruge, moderating the event, were just the icing on the cake for an excellent project.
